Wagga’s Monster Garage Sale – Saturday 23 February
This weekend, why not head to the Monster Garage Sale at the Wagga Baptist Church. For sale will be household items, clothes, toys and much more, all at bargain prices. There will also be a carwash, sausage sizzle, coffee shop, plants and cake stall. Time 7.00 – 3.00 pm at Wagga Baptist Church, 154 Tarcutta Street.
Markets by the Lake – Saturday 23 February
This Saturday, the Markets by the Lake are on again. Featuring Arts, crafts, local produce, children’s activities, entertainment, food and drink and much more, all located on the shores of Lake Albert from 9.00 – 2.00 pm.
Australian Formula Powerboats – Saturday & Sunday 23 & 24th February
Whilst at Lake Albert, you can also see the explosive starts, hairpin turns and high speed passing manoeuvre of the Formula Powerboats. The Wagga Wagga event is Round 2 of a 5 round series for the Australian National Championship titles for the formula (F1, F2 and F3) powerboats. Racing will be from approx 8.30 am – 5.00 pm.
Sunday Markets – Sunday 24th February
Don’t forget about the weekly Sunday markets held within the Myer carpark. Entry is by gold coin donation, with all proceeds going to charity. The markets are on from 7.30 am – 12.00 noon.
Monster Trucks – Saturday 9th March
The Monster Trucks are coming to Wagga on Saturday the 9th of March, at the Wagga Showgrounds. Ticket prices start from $40.00 per adult, for pre-purchased tickets, with children under 12 $25.00. 2013 AFL NAB Cup – GWS Giants v Brisbane Lions
Watch the Brisbane Lions take on the GWS Giants under lights at Robertson Oval on Saturday the 2nd of March. Tickets are available from the Visitor Information Centre. The game kicks off at 7.00 pm.
