Fitzpatricks Real Estate took part in the second annual Dragon Boat Challenge on Sunday, at Lake Albert. There was a fantastic turnout of more than 30 teams and plenty of spectators.
“Fitzy Dragons” entered a team of 20 paddlers in the 200 metre race, competing against other local business houses and organisations in the Community category. The competition saw competitors travel to Wagga Wagga from as far as Dubbo to compete in the four categories: men, women, sports mixed and community.
It was a lot of fun, great exercise and also a great team building exercise. We competed in 3 heats, narrowly missing out on making the finals.
Congratulations to the Community category winners, Fitter Faster Stronger, who definitely lived up to their name. Congratulations to all the other teams for a fantastic day of community spirit, sportsmanship and teamwork. You can view all the results from the challenge here.
