Fitzpatricks Real Estate are proud to be supporting the fantastic community initiative of the Committee 4 Wagga – Lights 4 Lake.

All 104 light poles planned to line the 5.5km walking track around Lake Albert have been sponsored by business and individuals who have a special connection to the lake, which will enable the precinct to become more accessible and enhance the lake for people to benefit from its full potential.

“This project will enhance the lake as a natural geographical feature and make the most of its beauty, because it’ll be quite a spectacle when it’s all lit up” said Committee for Wagga CEO Chris Fitzpatrick. The solar-powered lights, which include an LED lamp, will add to the longevity and safety of the lake. “These lights will help to extend the life of the lake, so even when it’s dark in the early morning and evening, people can still enjoy the space while feeling safe and secure,” he said.

Plaques will also acknowledge the donor or sponsor of the posts in their special way of giving back and contributing to the community.

The Lights 4 Lake is just one initiative of the Committee 4 Wagga enhancing the cultural, social, business and economic prosperity of Wagga and providing a platform of collaboration between community, business and government to effect positive change.
