If you run into one of the guys from our office this month, you may notice them sporting a stylish moustache. No they haven’t become seedy salesmen; they are taking part in Movember! For this month only they have transformed into super cool “Mo Bros” and united to make a team called the “Fitzy Furries”.

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in Australia and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men.

Mo Bros effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November and through their actions and words raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health.
In 2010, over 130,000 Australian Mo Bros and Sistas got on board, raising $25 Million. Making up a large portion of the global total of $72 Million AUD!

24 days in and Fitzy Furries are resembling a bunch of hairy baboons and have raised almost $2000 to date!

With only 6 days left they plan on raising a lot more awareness and donations. So please have a laugh at their “Mo Spaces” listed below and show your support by making a donation to either the Fitzy Furries or an individual Mo Bro of team.
