Each year Fitzpatricks Real Estate awards a scholastic scholarship, via the Charles Sturt University Foundation, to a student studying a Bachelor of Business in their second year or above.

This year we are proud to award our scholarship to Ainsley Barrett.

“This accomplishment is symbolic to my family as it represents the presence of opportunity and hope for my younger siblings and family members. It demonstrates that higher education is always a possibility if you are willing to work hard and have dedication to your goals.

This scholarship has lifted many financial burdens from my shoulders and will allow me to be more focused and driven in terms of my personal academic goals and willingness to give more back to my role as a Residential Advisor within the on campus community of CSU.

Personally I have always had an interest in Real Estate, I am very excited to have been given this opportunity to undertake my work placement there and possibly look into pursuing it further as a career.

As well as a financial contribution, Fitzpatricks offers the scholarship winner work placement to gain practical, hands-on experience. Our 2014 scholarship winner, Jeremy Callan, has followed up on the opportunities and knowledge acquired during his work placement, joining the Fitzpatricks PCI Commercial team after completing his degree.
