Have you ever truly contemplated a life on the streets?

Did you know more than 116,000 Australians sleep rough each night of the year, 44% are women and 27% are under the age of 18*

These people were once like you with paying jobs and families and friends, coming home to a warm cooked tea, enjoying the comforts of a warm shower and a warm bed.

Fitzpatricks Real Estate wants to help “Vinnies” shine a light on homelessness and support Wagga Wagga’s care and support centre, conferences and support services such as Edel Quinn.

Four of the Fitzpatrick Directors have willingly donated their time with Jeremy Hutchings, Helen Woodhouse, Matt Newley and Lyn Kimball joining other Fitzpatrick team members for the Vinnies Community Sleepout at McDonald Park, Equex Centre in Wagga on August 30th 2018. They will be spending the night in a cardboard shelter with their own supplied sleeping bag and blankets. Their tea will consist of a soup kitchen. For them, it is only one night but for many people around Australia, this is EVERY night of the week.

Not only will this night raise funds it will also educate the public on the complexity of homelessness and raise awareness to the cause.
