On Tuesday 26th July, Hume Bank hosted a Home Buying Workshop designed to inform people interested in entering the property market on how to navigate the process easily and own their own home sooner.

Fitzpatricks Real Estate, alongside Walsh & Blair Lawyers and Dennis Family Homes, was invited to speak as representative experts on the process of purchasing property. 

The night was particularly useful for first home buyers with speakers representing the financial and legal aspects of the process really breaking down what people needed to do to get into the market and what support in the form of grants were available.

Teagan Johnston is a personal assistant at Fitzpatricks but is also a first home buyer looking to enter the market. Whilst she has an insight into the process working in real estate, she found the event very informative:

The event really gave an end to end run through of the process of purchasing your first home, from budgeting, research tips, what costs you will face, and tips on what types of questions to ask your local agents. It also equipped you with the tools and tips to address the decision to build or buy an existing home.

Overall, it was considered a successful night in which Fitzpatricks was proud to be involved.
