There will be plenty to see and do in Wagga Wagga over this Australia Day long weekend.
Take the family to Picnic at the Oasis on Saturday and enjoy free entry from 2-6pm. That evening take in the Australia Day Awards Ceremony and Concert at the Civic Theatre.
On Sunday, the Victory Memorial Gardens is the place to be with Markets in the Park from 9am (including free rides for the kids until 10am) then Movies in the Park from 6.30pm.
On Australia Day itself, come down to the Civic Precinct for a free community BBQ, welcome new Aussies at the Citizenship ceremony at the Civic Centre forecourt, then take in the annual Star FM Talent Quest in the Civic Theatre from 1pm.
Don’t miss the outdoor family production “The Lizard of Oz”, by the makers of Backyard Ashes, now showing until the 8th of February.
