Wagga Wagga has been announced as the number one family friendly regional city in Australia according to a recent report from Suncorp Bank.

The report ranked cities based on a number of factors including education, unemployment, income and mortgage stress. Factors that placed Wagga highly included employment levels, community involvement, community safety and road safety. It was found that regional areas are less likely to have the concerns of cities such as congestion, house prices and pockets of disadvantaged areas and that both older and younger people are moving to regional areas.

Outcomes of the study have backed up that a happy work life balance is important. Regional cities such as Wagga Wagga can provide a high paying job, a short commute to work plus a great place to raise a family. It is these attributes and more that make Wagga Wagga such a great place to live!
