Wagga Wagga City Council is running a series of workshops to educate the community on how to reduce our ecological footprint within our homes. Held each month, the workshops cover:
• Recycling and organic waste recover
• Sustainable gardening
• Energy efficiency
• Water Wise Living
• Companion planting
• Sustainable and Active Transport
• Safe cycling and bike maintenance
• Green cleaning
The next community workshop will be held at 9.30 am Saturday 2nd of June at the Garden Court, Botanic Gardens and focuses on water wise living and how you can manage water consumption in your home. Hosted by Riverina Water County Council this interactive workshop will discuss the rebates currently available. Morning tea will be provided and you will also receive a free water efficiency education pack, kindly donated by Water Country Council.
