While buying your first home is exciting, it can certainly be a daunting (and long) process for some. However, we have seen numerous buyers being able to get into their first home by utilising the government’s First Home Buyer Guarantee.
As of the 1st of October, 10,000 new places will become available under the Regional First Home Buyer Guarantee enabling eligible first home buyers living in regional areas to purchase a home with a deposit of as little as five per cent.
At least one borrower must have lived in the regional area they intend to purchase in for twelve months to be eligible.
The government will release more detailed information on Saturday.
